Our standard ‘Waskit’ is now available to order in a variety of sizes. It is based on an agricultural garment from the C19th, and can be worn by both men and women. It is handmade in rural England.
* Bodice is an artisanal wool & linen blend (90% wool, 10% linen) in a fine twill. The textile is naturally dyed; colour is an earthy brown
* Front has an attractive, slim lapel; angled breast pocket; two watch pockets and discreet hemp buttons numbering seven
* Back panel is a slubby Irish linen in toffee. Details include a linen cinch with flat, matt brass buckle; a small rear vent and godets
* Lining is a lightweight Irish linen (white) with contrasting, narrow stripe (black)
* Internal pocket has a distinctive buttoned flap
* Block-printed maker’s patch - featuring the Bonfield emblem - and size label in Old gold on brown linen
* Garment shown is our 4 - a Men’s Large or a Ladies’ 14
* The Bonfield ‘Waskit’ is currently Made to Order in Men’s sizes XS, S, M or L; Ladies’ sizes 8, 10, 12 or 14
