Hand-printed linen by the metre

We are delighted to offer some of our designs as hand screen-printed linen by the metre. For use in upholstery or soft furnishings, our entirely natural, hand-printed linen is the fruit of a collaboration with a London-based specialist.

Having our original block-printed designs reproduced professionally enables us to offer customers genuine meterage. It also allows us, if we wish, to transform our designs by altering the scale. By enlarging a design, the beauty and character of our original mark-making is dramatised and small, magical details are pulled into focus.

Our hand-printed linen can be ordered by the metre and the lead time is approximately 4 weeks. There is no minimum order. A4-sized samples are £5.50 each - email us at workshop@bonfieldblockprinters.com or call 01460 30268 with your requests.

At present, our hand-printed linen is available in the following designs: ‘Bloodlines’, ‘Lyme Bay’ and ‘Ode to the Ash’.

‘Bloodlines’, by Janet Tristram, comes in three standard colour-ways - Blue grey, Elizabethan ochre and Venetian red. If required, it can also be ordered in Midnight blue.

‘Lyme Bay’, by Cameron Short, is available in four standard colour-ways - Blue grey, Elizabethan ochre, Midnight blue and Venetian red.

‘Ode to the Ash’, again by Cameron Short, comes in three standard colour-ways - Blue grey, Elizabethan ochre and Midnight blue. It can also be ordered in Venetian red.

Please note that cut cloth is considered to be a bespoke item. Please check carefully before purchase - samples are recommended - as non-faulty cut cloth cannot be returned for refund or exchange.
