  • New year, new image...

We thought we'd usher in 2016 with the beguiling 'Brocade shoe among nettles' - the first image in Janet Tristram's 'Lost' series of relief prints. It features an intricately patterned C17th ladies shoe, obscured by stingers. Limited to 100 editions, the block print is available in 'Carbon black' ink on white, 285gsm Fabriano printmaking paper. Each print is signed and numbered by Janet in pencil. Dimensions - Width: 30cm Height: 20cm. Find one here on our website for £50.

  • It's a wrap!

Here's a sneak preview of my latest commission - a simple repeat pattern for The New Craftsmen. Designed for their Christmas wrapping paper, it's made up of around 12,000 individual cuts....

  • 'The Maker's Tales'

I've just completed a set of block-printed illustrations for 'The Maker's Tales' - three fairytales written by celebrated author Sara Maitland, and commissioned by The New Craftsmen, London.

The illustrations are, from top: 'Jackdaw & Scissors', 'Bowl with Eggs', 'Bird, Chopping Board & Cup', 'Wayfaring Giant' and 'Rattlesnake'.

Each illustration is approximately A5 in size and limited to 100 editions. All are printed on Fabriano 285gsm archival printmaking paper. They are individually numbered and signed by me in pencil, and are available to buy for only £75 each at thenewcraftsmen.com - with a special price for the set.
