A fine, Irish linen cushion in Straw with block-printed images - ‘Needle furze, the hand of John England & lost liberty’ - in Blue grey. In the spirit of yesteryear, it is lovingly patched and hand-stitched with linen thread. Images are summoned from the folk songs famously collected by Cecil Sharp in Somerset, England in 1903. On the reverse is a block-printed, patched and stitched maker’s label. The cushion pad is 100% cotton and feather-filled. Dimensions - Width: Length:
